Really been looking into bikes, torn between 3 right now, 1st on the list is the 48:
2nd on the list is the 848 Evo:
And the 3rd, the new BMW S1000RR:

my neighbor had a few Ducati’s, they all sounded mad sexy. I would say don’t get the Harley, and get the Ducati.

This will be your first bike correct? Being in NZ, you’re limited to a 250cc bike whilst on your learner license, which I think is a great idea. Learner rider + bike capable of 160kph in 1st gear, getting there in a matter of seconds….hmmmmmm. Unless im completely mistaken and you’ve got some experience behind you…..forget the 848 and get an 1198..holy smokes those are cool. Faster too!

A buddy of mine just got the BMW and he loves it. I can’t speak from any personal experience but from what I read, hear from him, and see on the net its a bad ass bike.
