Been on the hunt

for a decent timepiece for quite a while now. I never really find anything that jives with my budget and style. Scott Hansen (Tycho/ISO50) just tossed up this beautiful item:

Check out the homepage for Void, or you can buy a tad cheaper at Dezeen. At £125 ($199) it isn’t a piggy bank breaker, but still sets you apart from the plethora of Fossil and Diesel things out there. I may have to scoop this up, ’bout time I bought something other than car parts eh? This or a new Kindle…hrmmm.

Just remember, my boy, Christmas is coming! And I’ve got a Kindle. Very cool!

What Kindle do you have? The new ones are nice, but I just have to decide between the large or small to use for reading all my textbooks. They all come as pdf.

Also looking at the Nook, but don’t know if I really need color and such.

Oh and if you have the urge to buy me that watch, Brushed Aluminum with black band please 😉

Your Mom and I both have the smaller new Kindles (although she hasn’t used it yet). I read from it every day now. But for your text books I’d recommend the larger one. Forget the Nook unless you need the color screen. The Kindle is much better.

Have you used the larger? Worried its too large to fit in my bag or a bit too heavy.

Nope, haven’t used a larger one or even seen one in person. But thinking about it, the small one would probably work for you. You can make lots of adjustments to the display fonts size and style to make reading as easy as possible. I love the thing!

P.S. Once again, about watches, like I said, Christmas is just around the corner!
